Tavitano Transfers

Privacy

This page explains what we do with your personal data when you book a transfer or a day transfer, or write to us. We keep it short because we collect little.

Who is responsible

PALINDROM j.d.o.o. (trading as Tavitano Transfers), Poljička cesta Krilo 20, 21315 Jesenice, Croatia, OIB 25272079807, is the controller of your data. For anything on this page, write to info@tavitano.com.

What we collect, and why

  • To drive you: your name, email address, mobile number, pick-up and drop-off address, date and time, number of guests, flight number and anything you write in the notes. Without these we cannot perform the journey. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
  • To take payment: the amount, the currency and whether the payment succeeded. We never see or store your card number, because the card is entered on Stripe’s own page.
  • To keep our books: the record of the booking and the payment, because Croatian accounting and tax law requires it. Legal basis: our legal obligation.

We do not profile you, we do not advertise to you, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone for their own purposes.

Who else touches it

  • Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland) processes card payments and receives your name, email and the amount.
  • Our web host in Croatia stores the website, the booking records and our email.
  • An address and routing service. When you type a pick-up or drop-off address, that address is sent to a mapping service so we can work out the real driving distance and quote a price. Today that is Photon (komoot GmbH, Germany) for addresses and the OSRM routing service. Only the address text is sent, never your name or contact details.

Cookies

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel and no tracking of any kind. WordPress sets a session cookie only if someone signs in to administer the site.

The typefaces are served from this website rather than from a font service, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you visited.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as Croatian accounting law requires us to keep the underlying documents. Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted once they are answered and no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop processing it, and ask for it in a portable form. Write to info@tavitano.com and we will answer within one month.

If you believe we have handled your data badly, you may complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr.
